Prairie Rose from Milton Creamery in Iowa: A local cow’s milk cheese, it’s complex and flavorful, and the closest thing to Gruyere you'll find made in Iowa.

Tomme d'Aydius from France: This creamy, delectabe goat’s milk cheese melts in my mouth and takes me to my special place.

Parrano from Holland: This cow’s milk cheese combines the creamy mouthfeel of a Gouda with the zip of Parmesan, and I have always enjoyed a little zip in my creamy mouthfeel, haven't you?

Alsatian Munster: Creamy, "beefy" taste, a big nose of the earth, you won't soon forget this lovely cheese from France. Pairs well with Gewurztraminer!

Black Diamond Cheddar: Aged two years, as a good sharp Cheddar should be. I like to eat it with popcorn while sitting in front of a fire and watching an old Fred Astaire movie with my best guys—husband Jim and sheltie Michael.

Tom, Coralville Wine Department
Delice de Bourgogne: I have truly never met a person that didn’t like this cheese, and
if I ever do I'll punch them in the nose.

Manchego: Kinda Cheddar-y and pretty darn tasty. Always liked at dinner parties.

Edel de Cleron (France): This soft-ripened cow’s milk cheese is complex and stinky, yet mild. It is banded with spruce bark, which imparts a hint of woodsy smoke to the earth and mushroom flavors already present. You're going to want to let this one ripen till it's so runny you can eat it with a spoon!

Humboldt Fog: Comes from a small goat dairy in northern California and has won awards from the American Cheese Society and the World Cheese Competition. It ages in two stages, so that the inner & outer layers have different flavors & textures. The vein in the middle is purely decorative. Flavor is mild to tangy, with clean, fresh, lemony notes.

Manchego: This sheep’s milk cheese has long been one of Spain's most popular cheeses.  Some say it's over-hyped, but I keep going back to it, because nothing comes close to its buttery, nutty flavor.
